Reflexions

'Reflexions' was an exhibition in collaboration with other HE5 BA Photographers where we produced our own projects on various photographic theories. We as a collective came together and curated this exhibition. Below I will give an insight on my what my project was about.

Inspired by anemoia—a nostalgia for a time never lived—this project explores my emotional connection to the 1940s through music, memory, and imagined history. Shot on 35mm in open-air museums, it’s a personal tribute to my late grandmother, the power of music, and the comfort found in past eras. Through carefully curated scenes, I aim to evoke a sense of the uncanny—familiar yet distant, intimate yet unreachable.
